Designed to serve facilities as an educational tool, IAC Echocardiography accreditation is made up of two crucial steps. First, facilities conduct a self-evaluation by reviewing the IAC Standards. Second, facilities utilize IAC Online Accreditation to complete and submit their application.

Facilities honored include those that first achieved accreditation at least 20 years ago and currently hold IAC accreditation in 2024.
As new technology continues to be implemented in everyday practice, IAC is aware that the current Standards may not be inclusive of these new technologies.
