CAMS: New Application, Updated Standards
|
Laboratories performing noninvasive vascular screening only should know about CAMS. The new application and updated Standards for CAMS are now available.
What is CAMS?
The Commission for the Accreditation of Medical Screening Services (CAMS) provides a method of voluntary accreditation for facilities providing medical screening services to the general public. Created as a subsidiary of the ICAVL, the CAMS accreditation is based upon written standards that define the minimum requirements deemed necessary for a service to provide quality noninvasive vascular screening examinations.
