The ICAMRL and ICACTL Welcome Steven L. Ringgold, MS, RT(R)(MR)
As New Associate Technical Manager

ICAMRL DIVISION NEWS | Spring 2009

Steven L. Ringgold, MS, RT(R)(MR) joined the staff of ICAMRL and ICACTL in January 2009 as Associate Technical Manager. This new position augments the level of technical expertise that the ICAMRL and ICACTL offer to laboratories. Mr. Ringgold works with Mary T. Lally, RT(R)(MR), Technical Manager of ICAMRL/ICACTL, on clinically related aspects of the accreditation process.

Prior to joining the ICAMRL and ICACTL, Mr. Ringgold spent ten years as Senior Technologist and Supervisor of MRI Operations at Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, Baltimore, Maryland. Previously, Mr. Ringgold gained many years of experience as an MRI Technologist and a Radiologic Technologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Mr. Ringgold is board certified in Magnetic Resonance Imaging by the ARRT and is a licensed Medical Radiation Technologist.

When asked about his new position, Mr. Ringgold remarked, “I feel very fortunate to be a member of the IAC team. One of the reasons I entered the healthcare profession 20 years ago was to have the opportunity to provide a high level of quality care to my patients, as I would want my family and myself to receive. From what I’ve seen in my past experience, the value that we as healthcare professionals place on quality can have a profound positive impact on our population. I see the IAC as being an important part of ensuring that quality.”

Technical questions may be directed to Mr. Ringgold by phone at 800.838.2110, or via email at ringgold@intersocietal.org.
