Norman B. Gaylis, MD

Norman B. Gaylis, MD joins the ICAMRL representing the International Society of Extremity MRI in Rheumatology (ISEMIR), Dr. Gaylis is owner and chief operating partner of Arthritis & Rheumatic Disease Specialties, Miami, FL. Dr. Gaylis received his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Rheumatology in Miami. Actively involved in ongoing clinical research trials studying a variety of arthritis drugs and other treatments, Dr. Gaylis has been a principal investigator in the research of over 100 new pharmaceutical products for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, systemic lupus, lupus nephritis, gout, and Sjogren's syndrome. Dr. Gaylis has presented at medical meetings around the world and has published numerous research articles on rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. He has lectured nationally and internationally on numerous topics in rheumatology, particularly the use of EMRI technology in rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Gaylis is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Founding Fellow and active member of the American College of Rheumatology. He has also served as a Past President of the Florida Rheumatology Association.


Alan M. Dietzek, MD, FACS, RPVI
 

Orrin M. Troum, MD

Orrin M. Troum, MD joins the ICAMRL as a representative of the International Society of Extremity MRI in Rheumatology (ISEMIR), where he is a founding member and Membership Chairman. In addition, he is a Founding Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Troum is a Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. He received his BS degree in Biology at Tulane University. After attending the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine and the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Troum completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is also a Certified Clinical Densitometrist. Dr. Troum has pioneered the use of extremity MRI in the evaluation, clinical decision process and outcome of patients with inflammatory arthritis. He is also founder and Director of Research at the Westside Arthritis & Metabolism Center in Santa Monica, CA. His clinical trial research focuses on rheumatoid arthritis, other inflammatory arthropathies, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and metabolic disorders.


Scott E. Bingham, MD, FACC

Scott E. Bingham, MD, FACC joins the ICAMRL as a representative of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR).
