Alan M. Dietzek, MD, FACS, RPVI
Alan M. Dietzek, MD, FACS, RPVI joins the ICAVL representing the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. At Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, Dr. Dietzek serves as the Director of the Center of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Director of the Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory, and Chief of the Section of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, and is the first occupant of the Linda and Stephen R. Cohen Chair in Vascular Surgery. Also an educator, Dr. Dietzek has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College since 2002. |
Upon receiving his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Dietzek completed his residency and internship in General Surgery at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY, followed by a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. In addition to the SCVS, he has held memberships in several professional societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Board certified in General Vascular Surgery, Dr. Dietzek earned the RVT designation in 1992 and the RPVI designation in 2005. Dr. Dietzek has been actively involved in numerous committees and professional societies. For over 20 years, Dr. Dietzek has lectured extensively and published as author or co-author of numerous manuscripts, books, book chapters and abstracts.

Beverly Hashimoto, MD
Beverly Hashimoto, MD joins the ICAVL representing the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound. At the Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle, WA, Dr. Hashimoto serves as Section Head of the Ultrasound Division in the Department of Radiology, as well as Co-Director of the Vascular Laboratory. As an educator, Dr. Hashimoto has served since 1987 as Clinical Assistant Professor at Seattle University School of Science and Engineering, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at University of Washington. |
Upon receiving her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, Dr. Hashimoto completed her residency at the Department of Radiology at the University of California. In addition to the SRU, she is a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Angiology, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American College of Radiology. Dr. Hashimoto maintains an active involvement in several professional societies and serves on numerous committees. Her current memberships include the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Breast Imaging. Serving for many years in an editorial or reviewer capacity for such publications as the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, and the Advance Journal for Radiology Administrators, Dr. Hashimoto has authored or co-authored numerous book chapters, papers and abstracts.
