The ICAEL Welcomes Corinne Giannullo, BA, RDCS
As New Associate Technical Manager

Corinne Giannullo, BA, RDCS recently joined the ICAEL staff in the newly created position of Associate Technical Manager. This new position augments the level of technical expertise that the ICAEL offers to laboratories. Ms. Giannullo works with ICAEL Technical Manager, Beverly Gorman, RDCS, on clinically-related aspects of the accreditation process.

Prior to joining the ICAEL, Ms. Giannullo was a sonographer in the Echocardiography Laboratory of the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she completed the ICAEL application and was an integral part of the laboratory earning accreditation. Prior, Ms. Giannullo performed both adult and pediatric echocardiography examinations during her tenure of ten years within Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's Echocardiography Laboratory.

When asked about her new position with the ICAEL, Ms. Giannullo remarked, "In performing echocardiograms and teaching others to scan, I have always strived for excellence. That's why I was so pleased to have worked on the accreditation at The University of Maryland. I understand the process -- and I want to encourage other labs to get excited about accreditation and ICAEL's mission of promoting high quality."
