The ICAVL Standards for noninvasive vascular laboratories are divided into seven areas. Please note that the following documents are The Standards for accreditation only; the Application for accreditation and all materials necessary to complete the accreditation process must be ordered from the ICAVL.

All laboratories must complete the Organization section. Laboratories may apply in any combination of the other areas, as suited to the services offered by each laboratory. The newest section, Screening, was developed and released in October 2005. The most recent version of all documents can be found here. These are the documents that laboratories must use when preparing for accreditation.
