Position Title: IAC Clinical Specialist – Vascular Testing/Vein Center

About The Company: The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is a nonprofit organization in operation to evaluate and accredit facilities that provide diagnostic imaging and procedure-based modalities, thus improving the quality of patient care provided in private offices, clinics and hospitals where such services are performed. IAC provides accreditation programs for Vascular Testing, Echocardiography, Nuclear/PET, MRI, CT, Dental CT, Carotid Stenting, Vein Treatment and Management, Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Catherization. IAC programs for accreditation are dedicated to ensuring quality patient care and promoting health care, and all support one common mission: Improving health care through accreditation®. Committed to its mission through a rigorous peer review process, IAC has granted accreditation to more than 14,000 sites since its inception in 1991.

Position Summary: The Clinical Specialist – Vascular Testing/Vein Center will assist in the technical and clinical administrative support of the Vascular Testing and Vein Center divisions and staff. They will prepare materials for accreditation decisions for the Board of Directors, create and edit Application Review Findings (ARF), review additionally required application materials, provide clinical information support to facilities, maintain accurate database records, arrange facility site visits and prepare site visit documentation. The Clinical Specialist – Vascular Testing/Vein Center will assist in promoting IAC Vascular Testing and Vein Center divisions through exhibits, webinars and other communications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years’ technical experience in Vascular Testing and/or Vein Center
  • Current Credential(s) (must be maintained): RVT required, additional RPhS Credential desired 
  • Maintain current knowledge of medical specialty, Vascular Testing and/or Vein Center
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain objectivity
  • Ability to travel
