2020 Vascular Annual Meeting Canceled
VAM 2020 originally scheduled to be held June 17-20, 2020 in Toronto Canada has been canceled. After continuing to monitor the current trajectory and impact of COVID-19 in the US and Canada, as well as the likely aftermath for our members in the months to follow the peak wave, the SVS Executive Board has made the decision that it is impossible to move forward with holding VAM 2020 in Toronto.

2020 SVU Annual Conference- Going Virtual!
The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) has come to the difficult but necessary decision to officially cancel the SVU 2020 Annual Conference, originally scheduled to be held August 6th – 8th, 2020 in New Orleans, LA. In lieu of an in-person meeting, SVU is planning an exciting virtual conference. We will make a formal announcement once those plans are finalized in a few weeks.

SVU and SVS Will Partner at VAM 2021
Expanding their longtime partnership, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the SVU have agreed to expand and formalize their collaboration. As part of this alliance, detailed in a memorandum of understanding, SVU will hold its 2021 annual conference in partnership with the SVS 2021 Vascular Annual Meeting in San Diego. Both entities also will hold joint vascular lab sessions at their respective 2020 meetings. Read more»
2020 SDMS Annual Conference
The SDMS 50th Annual Conference will be held September 24-27, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA. The SDMS Annual Conference is designed for sonographers, students and physicians who use sonography in their practice. The educational program provides knowledge and skills in new sonographic techniques, diagnostic accuracy, enhancements of sonographic instrumentation, and practice management strategies. SDMS is actively monitoring the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. At this time, the 2020 SDMS Annual Conference will proceed as planned.
