AAN 2020 Annual Meeting Canceled
Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the American Academy of Neurology announced March 13, 2020, that it has no choice but to make the necessary decision to cancel the AAN’s Annual Meeting originally scheduled for April 25–May 1, 2020, in Toronto. 2020 Vascular Annual Meeting Canceled
VAM 2020 originally scheduled to be held June 17-20, 2020 in Toronto Canada has been canceled. After continuing to monitor the current trajectory and impact of COVID-19 in the US and Canada, as well as the likely aftermath for our members in the months to follow the peak wave, the SVS Executive Board has made the decision that it is impossible to move forward with holding VAM 2020 in Toronto.

2020 SVU Annual Conference
SVU is committed to holding its conference on August 6-8, but the format in which it will be held is under consideration. SVU continues to monitor the public health crisis nationally, and the situation in New Orleans specifically, as well as the imposition of any government orders or other factors that may prevent the conference from proceeding in-person. SVU and SVS Will Partner at VAM 2021
Expanding their longtime partnership, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the SVU have agreed to expand and formalize their collaboration. As part of this alliance, detailed in a memorandum of understanding, SVU will hold its 2021 annual conference in partnership with the SVS 2021 Vascular Annual Meeting in San Diego. Both entities also will hold joint vascular lab sessions at their respective 2020 meetings. Read more»
2020 SDMS Annual Conference
The SDMS 50th Annual Conference will be held September 24-27, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA. The SDMS Annual Conference is designed for sonographers, students and physicians who use sonography in their practice. The educational program provides knowledge and skills in new sonographic techniques, diagnostic accuracy, enhancements of sonographic instrumentation, and practice management strategies. SDMS is actively monitoring the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. At this time, the 2020 SDMS Annual Conference will proceed as planned.

SIR 2020 Annual Meeting Canceled
SIR 2020 is canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak in Seattle. On March 4, the Seattle and King County Public Health Department issued new public health recommendations to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. Among these recommendations was a request to organizers of large public gatherings to avoid bringing large groups of people together and consider postponing events and gatherings. Based on these recommendations, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) information, and numerous travel restrictions issued by companies and medical institutions, SIR and SIR Foundation leadership have made the difficult, but necessary and responsible, decision to cancel the SIR 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting in Seattle.
