AVLS 2020 Annual Congress
The 34th AVLS Annual Congress will be held October 15-18, 2020 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. 2020 SVU Annual Conference
The 2020 SVU Annual Conference will be held August 6-8, 2020 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, LA. The SVU 2020 Annual Conference will be the most exciting vascular conference of the year with live scanning sessions designed to allow the audience to pose questions and interact with the presenter while a patient is being scanned, an SVU-SVS Joint Session focusing on the Importance of the Physician-Sonographer Relationship, and a Clash of the Titans session in debate format!

SVU and SVS Will Partner at VAM 2021
Expanding their longtime partnership, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the SVU have agreed to expand and formalize their collaboration. As part of this alliance, detailed in a memorandum of understanding, SVU will hold its 2021 annual conference in partnership with the SVS 2021 Vascular Annual Meeting in San Diego. Both entities also will hold joint vascular lab sessions at their respective 2020 meetings. Read more»
SIR 2020 Annual Meeting Canceled
SIR 2020 is canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak in Seattle. On March 4, the Seattle and King County Public Health Department issued new public health recommendations to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. Among these recommendations was a request to organizers of large public gatherings to avoid bringing large groups of people together and consider postponing events and gatherings. Based on these recommendations, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) information, and numerous travel restrictions issued by companies and medical institutions, SIR and SIR Foundation leadership have made the difficult, but necessary and responsible, decision to cancel the SIR 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting in Seattle.
